How to Sign Up
Update! Councilmember Mario Castillo’s proposal to hold one public session a month at 6 pm passed! Mark your calendars - the first evening session will be August 26th at 6 pm and we will be there.
Sign up to speak in person no later than Monday by 3:00 pm. Public session is every Tuesday, starting at 2:00 pm. The last public session of the month is now at 6 pm.

Go to the Office of the City Secretary, City Hall Annex, 900 Bagby, Room P101
Provide your name, address, phone number and your topic
You’ll be given a choice to speak for 1 or 3 minutes.
Your time will go by quickly. It’s important to write down what you want to say and how long it takes.
Your district council member’s office may call you to learn more about your topic. City departments may also call you.
Where to Go
City Hall is located at 901 Bagby St, Houston, TX 77002 between McKinney and Walker. Bike parking is located across the street at the Houston Public Library.
When you arrive, go through security and register. You’ll need an ID.
City Council chambers are located on the second floor.
