We believe in freedom of mobility for everyone, regardless of age or ability.

We are not an advocacy organization.

Instead, we

  • Organize the community to take action.

What is the Highway Safety Improvement Program?

The Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) is a federal program which provides funds to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries on our roads.

What is the High Injury Network?

The High Injury Network represents 58% of traffic deaths and serious injuries occurring on 9% of Houston streets

What is the Lisa Torry Smith Act?

On June 18th, 2021 the Lisa Torry Smith Act was signed into law by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. As of September 1, 2021, it is a crime in Texas to injure or kill a pedestrian or other vulnerable road user in a crosswalk in Texas.
